Placentophagia (consumption of placenta)

Information about why eating the placenta and how, besides the little chunk in the mouth, taken from the maternal side, which doesn't taste any worse than licking your finger after a cut.

You can cut a piece of placenta off from the mother's side even if the cord is still attached.
